mission: MUSE - "where i live"
by guest muse Lynda
What I love most about my town is the quaint downtown area, annual festivals and the farmer’s market which runs from May to October each year. We’re close to Lake Ontario and there are several conservation areas that offer swimming and hiking in summer, and downhill and cross-country skiing in winter.
Heading out for a drive along a country road is my favourite past time. I’m a country girl at heart and love being surrounded by farmland. Having access to fresh foods has really influenced how I cook and eat, preferring to choose locally grown foods whenever possible.
Autumn is the best time of year in Southern Ontario. The leaves are at their peak of colour just about mid-October and the markets are filled with fresh fruits and vegetables. The weather is still warm enough to take long walks and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Thanks for letting me show you my corner of the world.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your images Lynda ~ and have long been a fan ;-)
ReplyDeleteI see a lot of similarities between your world and where I live. My fave? ~ the hay wagon filled with the reminder of many hours spent in the fields...
