where i live - houston , texas, usa

mission: MUSE - "where i live"
by guest muse beth
Robert Plant @ The Woodlands

I live in a VERY diverse city, spread out Texas size to include urban, suburban, & even rural lifestyles all in one city: HOUSTON baby! It's not the most scenic city, but it's home and I love it.  If you don't like the weather wait 10 minutes, it will change.

I love to catch the city at night. On the northwest side, there is The Woodlands, complete with tall pine trees, a great shopping district, the outdoor concert arena, & a beautiful waterway in the center. On the southeast side, we have Kemah with its great restaurants, boardwalk, & fairgrounds make a perfect family outing or romantic evening for two.

Kemah Boardwalk

Houston is nestled close to the Gulf Coast for even more fun down in Galveston. For a wonderful day out just get in the car and drive. No matter what direction I choose to go I will end up somewhere great! Naturally I must always include my camera as part of my expedition! ...oh, one more thing: It's one of the most inexpensive places to live and visit in the country!
