Where I live is a small town just beyond Houston, Texas. I live in the same town I grew up in. When I was younger, I just knew I would travel the world. My vision of importance was wrapped up in an idea. This idea that I needed to go far from home to find significance and worth. As I grew older and as life happened, where I have ended up is the same place I thought I wanted to leave. I'm so thankful my plans are so often not the plans that come to fruition. Had I followed through with what I thought I wanted, I never would have met my husband, and my life that I fully embrace now would not be this life that has become my world.

I believe in building a community of like minded artists, connecting and making our world smaller. As for me, my world happens at home. My world is my children, husband, friends, and family. As an artist, they inspire me, give me purpose, give me a desire to work harder. I've collected images that tell the story of my world, images that make up my daily routines, everyday habits, and the people I love.
